If you haven’t heard, Eircom is being sued in the High Court by 4 record companies (EMI, Universal, Warner Music and Sony BMG) for not preventing the download of copyrighted materials over its networks by its customers.

It should be interesting to see what happens to the cost of broadband in the country if the record companies succeed in their action…
